I’m sure that everyone has seen, heard, maybe even browsed through the Early Access Anniversary Sale catalog at this point. If you haven’t, it’s a must. I did my research and by the time I got to Nordstrom for the early access on July 13, I had a pretty good idea of what items I would be going after. Let’s start with one of my favorite items—shoes.SHOES (under $100) – For those that know me, I’m all about the boots. Over-the-knee, thigh-high, ankle booties, you name it. Since I already own many pairs of boots, I decided to go for something a bit more trendy and versatile. I saw these laser-cut booties by Vince Camuto and I had to get my hands on them, stylish enough to be paired with a dress and simple enough to wear with skinny jeans. I also needed to restock my pump collection so I went for these beautiful ankle-strap pumps from Sam Edelman in black and leopard print. I haven’t purchased SE shoes in a long time because I’ve found them to be particularly uncomfortable on my feet but was quite surprised by how comfortable these were. Also, the ankle strap sits just right without pinching or rubbing my skin.JEANS – My least favorite item to purchase are pants since I often have a difficult time finding the right fit. I have long legs with a short torso so what I run into is, “petite” fit like high-waters and “regular” usually need to be hemmed. However, I’ve found that AG jeans fit me like a glove, so when I saw these on sale, I bought myself a pair. They’re ankle skinny jeans so don’t need alterations, and the stretchy materials makes them extremely comfortable to wear.JACKETS/BLAZER – I wanted to add a pop of color to my wardrobe so I decided to go for a fiery red blazer from Halogen and a fun bomber leather jacket from Hinge (designed in Seattle!) This leather jacket is so soft and the color is a blush/beige tone making it perfect for the summer and fall. DRESS (under $40) – With the beautiful weather we’ve had in Seattle, I regret not purchasing more dresses or rompers earlier in the season. What I love about this romper from Socialite is that it’s has long bell sleeves that have been totally in this year. Also the flower pattern resembles the style of Ted Baker pieces but for a fraction of the price (at just $35.90).
BASIC TEE (under $20) – Staple pieces for any wardrobe for less than $20, I could literally buy these Caslon crewneck tees in every single color and pair them with various outfits. Another item that I’m obsessing over is this B.P. tee that is currently soldout in my size but will be in my cart first thing tomorrow morning. What Anniversary sale items have you had your eye on? Don’t forget, the sale opens up to the general public tomorrow and I’m sure a lot of these hot items will be selling out fast.
